Rafael Nadal with his wife are going to move into their new home located in Manocar, Spain

Tennis icon Rafael Nadal is going to shift into their new home soon with his wife and son, which is currently being built at Porto Cristo in Manacor, Spain. The house will be located at the highest point of Porto Cristo. The 22-time Grand Slam champion will be able to enjoy beautiful views of the natural cove of the port with his family.

The house construction is in its final phase as the equipment, installations, and exteriors are almost done. The house took over two and half years and will be ready to move in by the Spring of May 2023. The house is constructed in such a way that the sea is easily accessible. The Spaniard, his family, and friends can also entertain themselves on the private yacht owned by Rafael Nadal docked on the seashore.

The King of Clay chose this location for his home as he is very attached to this area. His grandfather owned a building just next to Nadal’s home. His uncle, Miquel Angel Nadal (legendary footballer) also owned a house in this area. So, many great memories of the two-time Wimbledon champion are associated with this area.

The house is designed by celebrated architect Antoni Esteva. He has designed many beautiful buildings in Spain and the world.

Rafael Nadal has won almost every major trophy or title in his more than two-decade-old career. He dominated the clay court tournaments as no one has ever done before him. This got him the acronym ‘The King Of Clay’.

As an essential part of The Big Three, he made tennis popular as a sport all around the world. He won 22 Grand Slam singles titles in his career. He also won gold medals in Olympic Games and the Davis Cup title five times over for his country, Spain. He is a champion.

But after the retirement of his long-time rival Roger Federer hanging up his boot, the question is being asked when Rafael Nadal is going to retire. The 36-year-old had a scare this year as he battled to get physically fit to come back to the tour this year. As he is looking to add a few more Grand Slam and ATP singles titles to his tally, he must be contemplating his own retirement.

Another great Novak Djokovic is still going strong. He is physically fit and has won the 2022 ATP Finals recently. He will be in Down Under to win the Australian Open for a record 10th time in his career in January 2023. Both great players are in the last leg of their careers. As the new generation is arriving to take the place of The Golden Generation players, it can speed up the retirement of the maestros.
