Danish tennis player Holger Rune recently announced the addition of Severin Luthi to his coaching team for 2024. Severin Luthi, the longtime coach of tennis legend Roger Federer, who is now retired, will join hands with 6-time Grand Slam title winner Boris Becker in Holger Rune’s already phenomenal team.
After parting ways with former coach Patrick Mouratoglou earlier in 2023, Holger Rune appointed Boris Becker in October after his US Open campaign. Despite starting the season on a high, Rune’s form dropped drastically as he proceeded with the season.
Thus, he decided to change his coaching team. It turned out to be the perfect decision for him, as the youngster had an instant result in the ATP Finals, where there was a significant improvement in his performance.

He posted a picture of his entire team, including Severin and Boris Becker, to announce the addition of the Swiss coach to his team.
With the addition of Severin Luthi to his team, fans now have a lot of expectations from Holger Rune. He now has a proper pre-season to prepare for the 2024 season and particularly for the upcoming Australian Open, which is set to be his first tournament of the upcoming tour.
Alongside Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner, and Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune might also emerge as one of the prime contenders for the trophy.
