Roger Federer is on a promotional spree for Switzerland tourism. This time with his ‘Off court’ buddy Trevor Noah. Trevor Noah and Roger Federer are taking on the Swiss railways to promote the scenic beauty of Switzerland.
In a promotional video, the duo sit across from each other on a train on a scenic route in Switzerland. And contrary to the usual, it’s Roger Federer interviewing Trevor Noah. Many don’t know that the two have something very unusual in common. Both are sons of Swiss fathers and South African mothers. So Roger tested Trevor’s knowledge of one-half of his gene pool.
Roger Federer asks Trevor “What comes to mind when you think of Switzerland“? To which the ex-host of The Daily Show said “His father, watches and chocolates.” And Federer couldn’t agree more. A Swiss watch fan himself, Federer thinks Watches is just the right answer.
The two created some comic moments when Federer asked Trevor about 5 Swiss German words. The funniest moment undoubtedly was when Federer can’t make the quintessential African click sound.

Roger Federer and Trevor Noah, fans can’t get enough of
It seems like whenever Roger Federer and Trevor Noah collaborate, fans can’t get enough of them and their amazing chemistry. Though Federer has played an uncountable number of interesting tennis matches, his record for most spectators in a stadium comes from a match he played with Trevor Noah. He partnered with Bill Gates to play doubles against Rafael Nadal and Trevor Noah in South Africa for AIDS charity.
In the last week of hosting The Daily Show, Trevor invited Federer as one of his guests. The interview went viral for the hilarious story told by Federer about how he was denied entry to the Wimbledon club during an off-season. Federer fans just lapped up that interview like Swiss chocolates.
And though Federer has collaborated with big Hollywood names like Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro for Switzerland, his videos with Trevor are creating more noise than ever. In a hilarious video posted earlier in the same setting, Federer and Trevor board a wrong train and got lost in the Swiss Alps. This interview is an extension of that.
