Stefanos Tsitsipas is yet to win an ATP title this year

Greek World No.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas lost to Jannik Sinner in the round of 16 in the ATP Rotterdam: 4-6, 3-6. This was his first tournament after the Australian Open final loss against Novak Djokovic. The Greek superstar is yet to win an ATP title this year and he will be looking to play his best tennis in the sunshine double tournaments scheduled since March.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has had a comparatively poor 2022 season considering the standard he was expected to show. His win-loss ratio was 61-24. He won 2 titles (ATP-1000 Monte Carlo ATP 1000, ATP-250 Mallorca) in 2022, but failed to show up in the Grand Slam tournaments.

Despite all the setbacks, Tsitsipas had a golden chance to become the World No.1 player in the world during the ATP Finals, in Turin if he was able to win the tournament. The chances went begging when the current World No.8 Andrey Rublev defeated him in the final match of Round Robin stage of the tournament sending the Greek back home.
