World No. 3, Stefanos Tsitsipas, reached the Australian Open final recently, where he lost to 10-time champion Novak Djokovic. The decision comes after 19-year-old opponent Holger Rune announced that Mouratoglou would stick with him after a brief tenure at the end of 2022. Tsitsipas split ways with the French coach right before the Rotterdam Open.

The Greek has been training at the Mouratoglou Academy since his junior days in 2015. The agreement meant that Tsitsipas could use the place in France in exchange for his image for the promotion of the academy. Despite not being the head coach, Mouratoglou was often spotted in the player’s box during matches.
