Looking at my game compared to 3-4 years ago, a lot has changed. My composure is better than it was.”,” the caption read.

Stefanos Tsitsipas’s performance at the Australian Open 2023
If past performances can tell us anything, then they reveal bright prospects in the future for the finalist of the Australian Open 2023 tournament. He was not among the favorites to win the tournament, as Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Daniil Medvedev took all the media limelight and fans’ attention.
However, as the tournament progressed and as the challenge of the big seeds began to evaporate in the first few rounds of the competition, Stefanos Tsitsipas emerged as one of the top contenders to win the competition. He started his journey in the first Grand Slam of the season by beating Quentin Halys 6-3, 6-4, 7(8)-6(6). He then defeated Rinky Hijikata 6-3, 6-0, 6-2.
His next opponent was Tallon Griekspoor. The scoreline read 6-2, 7(7)-6(5), 6-3 in favor of Greece in the third round. The competition levels improved in the fourth round as he played a marathon match comprising five sets against Jannik Sinner. The 24-year-old was able to win this match 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3.
He defeated Jiri Lehecka in the quarterfinals 6-3, 7(6)-6(2), 6-4, and Karen Khachanov in the semifinals 7(6)-6(2), 6-4, 6(6)-7(8), 6-3. However, the challenge of the Serbian master proved too much for him, and he succumbed. Although Stefanos Tsitsipas could not start his journey into the 2023 season by winning the first Grand Slam of the season, he will soon get the chance to redeem himself.
