Taylor Fritz‘s girlfriend and influencer, Morgan Riddle, was seen having a great time on the court while her boyfriend got booed by the French crowd at the French Open. American Taylor Fritz won a tough four-set match, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4, during the second round of the French Open against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech at the Philippe Chatrier court. But the crowd booed Fritz as he eliminated France’s last man standing in the draw, and the home crowd booed him incessantly throughout the game.
When the match got over and the booing didn’t stop, the Americans repeatedly shushed the fans in an almost Daniil Medvedev manner. What made the incident funnier was that Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed the face-off between the crowd and him.
Morgan Riddle, who is a Youtube content creator and influencer, took her camera out to record the reaction of the French crowd and her boyfriend’s reaction to them. Perhaps this little video would make it into the video montage that she might create for her stay at the French Open.
The on-court camera was quick to capture Morgan enjoying the booing. She didn’t miss out on the opportunity to document the incident for herself and her YouTube channel, Morgan Riddle. On this channel, Morgan posts video montages of her days traveling with Fritz to different tournaments.
Later Morgan also posted a reel/video praising Taylor Fritz as he walked back from the court. She wrote on the video “My man, my man, my man” gushing over her boyfriend’s success.

Fritz, who is primarily a hard court expert, has had a decent run during the clay season so far. This is only the second time the World No. 8 has reached the third round at the French Open. He reached the third round in 2020, where he ultimately lost to Lorenzo Sonego. This year, the player would hope to make a deeper run. Taylor would be playing great against in-form Argentinian Frances Cerundolo in the 3rd round.
His shining moment in the 2023 clay swing came when he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinal at the Monte Carlo Masters. He defeated the Greek in straight sets, finally succumbing to Monte Carlo Masters 2023 winner Andy Rublev in the semi-final. This tournament revived the love for clay surfaces for Fritz, who wrote ‘USA CLAY?’ on the camera, hinting at the US tennis federation to include more clay tournaments in their calendar.
Taylor Fritz has not won a Grand Slam title so far, except for one ATP 1000 at Indian Wells in 2022. His crowning glory came when he defeated Rafael Nadal in the final at Indian Wells. The tennis world is sitting on the edge of its chair to watch a similar inspiring play from the American.
