“Their decisions kill women,” Martina Navratilova attacks white male politicians over ‘UNJUST’ abortion laws in the USA

A few months ago, the US Supreme court issues a shocking judgment that sent chills throughout the country and invoked widespread protests throughout the country. The Supreme Court reversed the ‘1973 Roe vs Wade judgment’ by a majority of 6-3 which nullified the ‘Right to Abortion’ and left the decision in the hands of all 50 states independently.
Abortion is a matter of huge scrutiny as many right-wingers in the USA believe it unlawful and sinful. So it was automatically judged that all states ruled by the Republicans, which is a right-wing party will ban abortion. Before this ruling, abortion was legal throughout the country in the first 24 weeks of pregnancy.
Tennis legend Martina Navratilova, who is one of the most active personalities on social media and often stands up for various social causes, took to social media once again to speak about this issue. A day ago, Renee Gasch, who is a community organizer and environmentalist, revealed the details of her recent appointment with her gynecologist (OB-GYN), said that the authorities made things even more difficult than they already are by banning medicines that softened the cervix and made the IUD less painful.
“Today was my first OBGYN appt since the GOP banned abortion care in WI(Wisconsin). I learned that the meds used to soften the cervix & make IUD inserts less painful are no longer an option bc they’re also used in abortions. Not only did the GOP take our rights, they’re making us suffer more,” she wrote on Twitter.
Martina Navratilova slams Republican politicians
Navratilova quoted Gasch’s tweet and expressed her disappointment with the way in which women have to suffer. She called out cruelty and said that this happens white male politicians make medical decisions that don’t affect them at all and actually kill women.
“Cruelty is the point. Also what happens when older white male politicians make medical decisions that doesn’t affect them at all and actually kills women,” Navratilova wrote.
