Stefanos Tsitsipas faced a shocking second-round exit from the Mallorca Open, as Yannick Hanfmann defeated him in three sets. The 2023 Australian Open champion’s struggles on grass court continue, as he has failed to make an impact in all three tournaments he has played in the last month.

Stefanos Tsitsipas was knocked out in the first round of the Stuttgart Open. Seeded second at the Halle Open, he could only manage to reach the second round, where Nicolas Jarry defeated him. Heading into the 2023 Wimbledon Championships, he has managed to claim just one win in the last three weeks.

Stefanos Tsitsipas has not had the best of results at Wimbledon over the past couple of years. Given his form leading up to the Grand Slam, the Greek tennis star will not be too confident about putting up a good show. In 2021, he was defeated in the first round by Frances Tiafoe. Last year, he was knocked out by eventual runner-up, Nick Kyrgios in the third-round encounter.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is yet to win a title this season, as his performances have been on the dip ever since his finals appearance at the 2023 Australian Open. He was humbled by the top seed Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals of the French Open, where he was defeated in straight sets.
