Fabio Fognini hasn’t had the best of the seasons as he has only been able to reach two semi-finals at tournaments this year, he beat Aslan Karatsev in the first round of the US Open by 1-6, 5-7, 6-4, 6-1, 6-4 to make his way into the second round but he now faces a tough fixture against world number 3 Rafael Nadal.
