After a thrilling first-day show at the last Slam of the year, the highly coveted US Open, Day 2 kicks off on Tuesday with a huge lineup of players set to begin their campaign.
Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz will look to build his confidence by winning the first-round matchup against a much lower-ranked player, and third seed Daniil Medvedev also begins his campaign to lift his second US Open title after failing to defend it last year.
Tunisian tennis star and fan favorite Ons Jabeur is starting her tournament today as well. Her long-time rival, Aryna Sabalenka, is also beginning the hunt for her second Grand Slam of the year. Other notable players, such as Jannik Sinner, Andrey Rublev, Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, and the legend Venus Williams, will also be featured on the second day of the tournament.
