Men’s Singles Draw Preview
Top Half
Former World No.1 Daniil Medvedev will headline the top half of the draw and gets a very tough draw early on. He will face Nikoloz Basilashvili in the first round and will then face either Tommy Paul or home favorite Dominic Thiem in the Round of 16. He is drawn opposite 6th seed Jannik Sinner who will open against Cristian Garin. The Italian will then face either Francisco Cerundolo or Filip Misolic in the second round.
Third seed Andrey Rublev will lock horns against Diego Schwartzman in a blockbuster first-round match. The winner will then face either a qualifier or Grigor Dimitrov in the Round of 16. British No.1 Cameron Norrie will open his campaign against a qualifier and will then face Marcos Giron or Tallon Griekspoor in the second round. Norrie is expected to face either Rublev or Schwartzman in the quarterfinal.
First Semifinal Prediction: Daniil Medvedev vs Andrey Rublev
Bottom Half
Second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas will headline the bottom half of the draw and will face Dennis Novak in the first round. He will then go on to face the winner of the match between a qualifier and Borna Coric. Meanwhile, 5th seed Hubert Hurkacz will face in-form and defending finalist Frances Tiafoe in an opening-round thriller with the winner facing either Lorenzo Sonego or Emil Ruusuvuori. Tsitsipas is expected to face either Hurkacz or Tiafoe in the last 8.
4th seed Taylor Fritz will take on a qualifier in the opener and will face either Denis Shapovalov or Jurij Rodionov in the Round of 16. Fritz is drawn opposite Matteo Berrettini who faces Dan Evans in the first round. He will face either a qualifier or Karen Khachanov in the second round.
Second Semifinal Prediction: Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Matteo Berrettini
Semifinals
The first semifinal will be an all-Russian clash between Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev. Medvedev has had a decent season but would definitely want to win big towards the end while ATP 500 tournaments are Rublev’s forte.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will be up against Matteo Berrettini in the second semifinal. The Greek bodes well with indoor hard courts while Berrettini can be very lethal on these pacy courts with his big forehands.

Final
The two highest-ranked players of the tournament, Daniil Medvedev and Stefanos Tsitsipas will battle against each other in the final of the Vienna Open. Medvedev will have a slight edge due to the surface but Tsitsipas’ recent form will cover that up. Expect a thrilling match with Tsitsipas winning the title.
