American youngster, Coco Gauff has done the unthinkable by winning the 2023 US Open. She defeated World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka to win the US Open Women’s Singles championship at the young age of just 19 years. With this, she has now become the youngest American female tennis player to win a Grand Slam since Serena Williams. She has also become the first American teenager to win a Women’s Grand Slam title this century.

Despite losing the first set against Aryna Sabalenka, Coco maintained her composure and made a stunning comeback in the second set. In fact, her performance in the second set unnerved the Belarusian so much that she started making plenty of unforced errors. It was obvious that she was totally feeling the pressure. However, the 19-year-old did not let the pressure get under her skin and finished the job in style in the third set. This sensational comeback victory is one for the ages. She won the match 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 in three sets.
