Novak Djokovic, now a 7-time Wimbledon champion and a 21-time grand slam winner has stunned his critics by winning the Wimbledon 2022. Novak, who was the centre of all the drama at the Australian Open has now given his statement by winning the championship.

The Serb defeated Nick Kyrgios 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 who looked composed in the first set but couldn’t carry the same level of composure in the next rounds which restricted him from winning his first major title. The Australian looked competitive throughout the tournament but in the final he had to be on another level just to beat Novak.

As Novak Djokovic has now been crowned the champion of Wimbledon, he celebrated the moment at the centre court with his family. He posted the video of his son running and him carrying his daughter on his back.

From the video posted by Novak’s official Instagram account, It looks like the whole family has really enjoyed their moment at the centre centre court on Monday. Novak also posted another video of him thanking everyone and talking about the Centre court’s famous balcony where he desired to have a cup of coffee in future.

The same post also received a comment from his rival at the final, Kyrgios who asked him about his dinner. Notably, both of them were engaged in the same conversation before the final where they agreed on having dinner together with the condition being the one who wins will pay for the dinner.

“Hello, everyone. Wonderful Monday morning.I’m very blessed to have this trophy once again and to be standing on probably the most famous balcony in the tennis world. The balcony in which I still have not had lunch or drink a cup of tea. And I hope that I’ll be able to do that in the future as a member. Truly special place, special club.

“I was just admiring and observing how without people, the club actually looks more intimate, smaller, but it’s definitely more special place in the tennis world. And I’m just honored to be standing here once again as a winner on Monday mornings. Hope to see you all next year,” said Novak.

This leaves many fans wondering if they might meet once again but at the dinner table this time!
