Marie Bouzkova is an upcoming tennis star from the Czech Republic. Born on 21 July 1998, she turned Pro in 2013 after a brilliant career as a Junior player. She played for a long time on the ITF circuit before becoming a WTA Tour regular as she is now looking to cement her place in the Top 50 and continue her gradual rise to the top of the rankings.
At the 2014 Wimbledon, she came runner-up in the doubles event for Juniors having partnered with Dalma Galfi for the major. She won her maiden Junior Grand Slam title at the 2014 US Open defeating Anhelina Kalinina for the title. On the ITF Tour, she is a 12-time singles title winner from 16 finals while being a 3-time doubles title winner from 3 finals. On the WTA Tour, she is yet to win a singles title having lost 3 finals on the trot but has 3 doubles titles in the Doubles event on the Tour after losing her first two finals.
