Ons Jabeur is the flagbearer of women’s tennis in the Arabic countries. The Tunisian star is on the WTA tour for quite some time and is rising through her ranks. She is the highest ranked female tennis player from an Arabic country and is the highest ranked African female tennis player on tour.
She became the first Arab woman to reach the quarterfinals of a grandslam when she reached the last 8 at the 2020 Australian Open. In her personal life, Jabeur tied the knot with Karim Kamoun, a professional fencer in 2015 when she was 20. The couple haven’t been much vocal about their relationship, but they could be occasionally spotted in public and express their love through social media too.
