Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has not completely dominated her opponents in the French Open 2021, however, her ability to script comebacks after lagging behind has allowed her to progress this far. Powerful groundstrokes and quick movement across the clay-court have made her a front-runner to lift the coveted trophy.
Whereas Tamara Zidanšek has also left tennis experts scratching their heads in disbelief as the unseeded 23-year-old has astonishingly made her way into the semis for the first time. Tamara was stretched to the final set in the quarter-final clash by Paula Badosa, but her ability to keep a cool head under pressure allowed her to win the contest by 7-5, 4-6, 8-6.
Tamara Zidanšek’s has been simply superb on the clay. In her third-round clash against Kateřina Siniaková, the Slovenian was bageled in the first set.
