Former world number 11 Sam Querrey will be playing his first math at the Los Cabos Open since a disappointing loss to compatriot Maxime Cressy in the Round of 16 of the Hall of Fame Open a week ago. He was expected to make a run till atleast the finals after having been seeded Number 2 but failed to capitalize on his opportunity
Brandon comes into the clash after battling past compatriot Jeffrey John Wolf in the Round of 32, 6-3, 6-7, 6-2. His previous tennis action was at Wimbledon, where he successfully qualified for the first round but eventually fell to yet another compatriot Taylor Fritz in a 4 setter, 5-7, 6-3, 4-6, 5-7.
