Rafael Nadal played one of the longest and most tiring matches of his career in the finals of the Australian Open. He and his opponent Daniil Medvedev were visibly tired after the tough encounter.
However, it was the Spaniard who triumphed in the 5 and a half-hour long match. The victory was one of the most precious ones for Nadal as he was making a comeback to professional tennis after going through surgery.
He played some of his best tennis and won his 21st grand slam title. This Wednesday he reached back to Spain after a 30-hour long flight and still took out some time to sign an autograph for a fan of his.

Rafael Nadal had a nearly 30-hour long flight from Melbourne, Australia to Manacor, Spain where he was welcomed by his wife at the airport. Even after a tiring flight Nadal still had the energy to entertain one of his fans and to give her an autograph at the airport.

The Spaniard returned back home after winning the Australian Open title for the second time in his career. He won the title 13 years after he won his first back in 2009. Nadal is one of the most inspiring personalities in tennis right now.
The Spaniard has left Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic behind in the race of winning the most career grand slams. Looking at his forms, Nadal is in a great position to win his 22nd title at Roland Garros 2022.
