Roger Federer

Roger Federer has just competed in just one tournament in 16 months and is gearing up for his return at the Geneva Open. After the 2020 Australian Open, the Swiss was sidelined due to knee injury. After 2 surgeries, he returned on court at the Qatar Open but wasn’t 100% fit.

Later, he announced that he will be taking a short break and will be back on Clay. He is scheduled to play at Geneva this week before competing at the Roland Garros. And now, UNIQLO has revealed Federer’s outfit for Roland Garros 2021 much to the delight of his fans. The Swiss Maestro will be seen wearing a red schemed T-Shirt paired with Dark Blue Shorts.

Federer will be seen in action on Clay at the Geneva Open after almost 2 years. His last match on Clay came at the semi-finals of Roland Garros 2019 where he lost to Rafael Nadal. The short Clay court stinct should provide Federer with enough court time to gear up for the Tokyo Olympics and Wimbledon.

Federer said: “UNIQLO and I have been working on this outfit for over a year now. We hope you agree the colors go so well with the red clay and beautiful Paris in spring.”

Meanwhile, Nike revealed Rafael Nadal’s outfit for Roland Garros before the Clay court season began. He will be seen wearing a lime Green T-Shirt alongwith Dark Blue shorts on the red dirt of Paris.

Nadal will be carrying momentum at the French Open like he always does. He won the Rome Masters last week defeating his arch nemesis Novak Djokovic. The Spaniard will now be seen directly on court at Paris as he isn’t scheduled to play any tournament before Roland Garros.
