Tennis legend Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian are huge sports freaks and follow most of the sports religiously. Alexia, apart from tennis is a huge Formula 1 fan and follows golf too. He is seen time and again vouching for Lewis Hamilton but recently, she shared his thoughts on golf too.
Alexis, who is very active on social media took to Twitter to share a video of Golf legend Tiger Woods. The American is seen playing golf with his son, Charlie Axel Woods at the PNC Championship- a father/son event. Eventually, the duo scored 15-under-par 57 to finish on 25-under-par in the two-round tournament at the Ritz Carlton Golf Course in Orlando.
“Some quality FatherSon content for your timeline!” he wrote. Tiger Woods, who is considered one of the greatest of all time was playing his first tournament after a serious car crash which ruled him out for 10 months.
Woods talked to media after the event and expressed his gratitude. “I’m just happy and thankful that I’m able to do this,” Woods said. “I still have my own leg, which was questionable for a while, and it’s functioning. I’m just really tired – I’m not used to this. I think this might be only my fourth or fifth round of golf this year. I’m a little worn out. It was nice to have a cart.”
When will Serena Williams return on court?
Serena Williams is inching towards the end of her career is still searching for that record breaking 24th grand slam. She was last seen at Wimbledon where she was forced to retire in the first round after she slipped on the court and injured herself. Ever since them she hasn’t played any professional tennis and is under recovery.
Serena will start her 2022 season late and won’t travel to Australia for the Australian leg. The next stop for her could be the middle eastern leg in March but she is yet to announce her schedule.
