Novak Djokovic has LOST his case in the Federal Court of Australia. The world No.1 will be deported back to Serbia and won’t be able to contest at the Australian Open 2022.

Djokovic after fighting for his place in the Australian Open for the past few weeks finally lost the battle. As soon as the verdict on Djokovic’s deportation came out Twitter was filled with mixed reactions from fans.

Ever since Novak Djokovic came to Australia he spent more time in a Federal Court than on a Tennis Court. Although the verdict was unanimous, at the end of the trial every tennis fan was expecting Djokovic to play at the Australian Open.

However, the bench consisting of Chief Justice James Allsop, Justice Anthony Besanko, and Justice David O’Callaghan delivered their judgment against Djokovic. His Visa has been canceled and he won’t be allowed to visit Australia for the next three years.

As soon as the Federal court of Australia delivered its verdict in the Djokovic case, Twitter was divided into some fans celebrating the verdict and others condemning it.

However, most of the fans were happy that the controversial start to the Australian Open finally ended and they could now focus on tennis.
