World No. 4 Stefanos Tsitsipas has been one of the most active players on social media with the Greek making the best use of the season break before he resumes his busy life on Tour for the 2022 season. Stefanos is also nursing his elbow that forced him to retire after playing just 1 match at the 2021 ATP Finals and is looking for a big season in 2022.
Lately, Stefanos has taken a liking for philosophy and other social media trends that can be seen on his social media handles where he is regularly posting stuff. Continuing this fad of his, he recently did the ‘Tell me without telling me‘ challenge, a viral trend on Tiktok that has also found its way on platforms like Instagram as well.
In the video posted, Stefanos was seen showing how one can identify a Russian even if they do not say it. The 23-year old is half-Russian as his mother, Julia Apostoli, who was also a former WTA player, represented both the Soviet Union and Greece during her career as she was born in the Soviet Union.
Stefanos was seen eating a slice of bread that had caviar applied to it. The delicacy of caviar is of great importance to the Russians and is often stereotyped to the natives enjoying caviar which then went the Greek’s way as he took on the trending challenge.
Stefanos Tsitsipas yet to confirm his tournaments before the Australian Open
Tsitsipas who will lead Greece into the 3rd edition of the ATP Cup that will begin from January 1 in Sydney as he is the highest-ranked Greek in the ATP singles rankings, he is yet to confirm his tournament after the stint in Sydney. The ATP Cup will have its finals on the 9th of January that still leaves a week for the 2022 Australian Open to begin as it starts on 17th January.
In the second week, Stefanos can choose either to stay in Sydney and compete in the Sydney Tennis Classic that is scheduled between 10th to 15th January, or he can travel to Adelaide for the Adelaide International 2 that is also scheduled on the same dates.
