Will Smith who played Richard Williams in King Richard made the headlines at the Oscars for all the wrong reasons

The Oscars ceremony was going along nicely as Chris Rock came to present the prestigious award ceremony in the third hour of the event. It was then the comic made a joke about Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith. He said “Jada, I love you. ‘G.I. Jane 2,” comparing her to Demi Moore’s character in the film where she is a female soldier with a shaved head. The joke was a reference to Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved hair as she already told her followers that she has been suffering from alopecia which results in hair fall.

Will Smith looked fine at first but later he stormed to the stage and without giving any warning he struck Chris Rock. The comic handled the situation well justifying his joke as Will Smith returned to his seat. Smith then revolted and said Rock to stop speaking about his wife. “Keep my wife’s name out your f–king mouth,” Smith added after returning to his seat.
