Ukrainian tennis sensation Dayana Yastremska is one of the many youngsters who have recently come up on the Tour. The right-handed player turned pro in 2015 as a 15-year-old.

Since then, she has had a rapid rise on the tour, entering the Top 100 before her 19th birthday. She suffered a setback in 2021 when she was accused of doping and suspended by the International Tennis Federation (ITF). 

After nearly 18 months, she was found innocent and allowed to return to the tour. Yastremska also played in doubles as a junior and was successful in reaching the finals of the 2016 Australian Open. But she was unfortunate to lose the title.
