Jason Kubler is the latest tennis star to break out from Australia. The 25-year-old has had a brilliant 2022 season and has also started the 2023 season on fire. He has performed exceptionally well in the doubles format this year. He has constantly been improving since he played his first pro match in 2008.

Kubler has been a very successful singles player on the ATP Challenger Tour. He has played 12 Challenger finals so far. Kubler has a 7-5 record in these finals. He won his first tournament in 2014 at the Sibiu Open in Romania. He has since won titles in Australia, Canada, and USA.

Kubler also has an excellent record in the ITF Futures Tour as well. He has 12 titles to his name in 23 finals. The Australian won his first title in the USA in 2011. He has most recently won a title in 2022 in Australia.

He has recently come to the world’s attention due to his performances at the 2023 Australian Open. Kubler is playing with fellow Australian Rinky Hijikata in the men’s doubles. The duo entered the tournament unseeded but have gone on to be the surprise of the tournament. The pair have gotten the better of first-seed pair Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski on their way to the final. They will now face Hugo Nys and Jan Zielinski and look to become the second consecutive Australian doubles pairing to win the Australian Open.

Kubler was born in Brisbane, Australia on 19th May 1993. He was born to an Australian father, John, and a Philippine-born mother, Lyn. John was the one to introduce Jason to tennis at the age of five.

But tragedy struck the Kublers. John passed away from cancer when Jason was just eight years old. His mother Lyn provided for the family from then. Kubler also has an older brother and a younger sister. The family prefers to be private and is rarely seen on Jason Kubler’s social media.
