Felix Auger-Aliassime is one of the most talented young guns on the ATP tour. In fact, the Canadian is also billed as the future of tennis and many experts believe that he will in contention to win Grand Slams soon. The 20-year-old is in great hands currently as he is being guided by Rafael Nadal’s uncle and former coach Toni Nadal. Felix is often seen practicing and honing his skills at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca.
Felix Auger-Aliassime’s Girlfriend Nina Ghaibi
Felix has been dating Croatian Nina Ghaibi since early 2019. Nina is just a few weeks older than Felix and the couple have been pretty open about their relationship. Both Felix and Nina have often shared pictures with each other on social media platforms. The Canadian who spent Christmas time with his girlfriend also shared an emotional message, “Despite the difficult times we’re going through, I hope you can still share precious moments with your loved ones, either in person (if possible) or virtually.”
Earlier in the year in March, Felix shared a photo on Instagram and revealed that he and Nina were celebrating two years of their togetherness. “Well, I’m pretty happy our paths crossed two years ago. Two years of love and happiness. To many more in the future.”
Interestingly, Nina is also a dear friend of Ajla Tomljanovic who happens to be the girlfriend of Italian player Matteo Berrettini. This bond also saw both Matteo and Felix train together at this year’s Australian Open.
Felix beat Federer in Halle
Felix kicked off his grass court season by upsetting eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer in the opening round of ATP Halle a few weeks ago. He even made the semifinals of the grass event in Halle before going down to eventual champion Ugo Humbert.
