Novak Djokovic has had quite the year. He won three of the four grand slams. His hopes to complete the calendar slam at the very place Jackman visited was shattered by Russian Daniil Medvedev in straight sets. Post the US Open finals, Djokovic took a long break, after which he reached Bercy to play in the Paris Masters. Here, not only did he win the title by defeating Medvedev, but also became the only man to achieve year-end no. 1 ranking for 7th time.
