WATCH: “Wolverine” Hugh Jackman visits Flushing Meadows, imitates Novak Djokovic
Australian actor Hugh Jackman was recently seen in the United States. The Hollywood fame dropped by New York, visiting the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Jackman, who is a huge tennis fan and a regular feature at various grand slams, was seen to be in awe of the stadium.
The Wolverine star is also a big fan of Novak Djokovic, and tried to imitate the world no. 1 in the US Open arena. He had challenged Djokovic for a match on twitter, and even congratulated the Serb on his 20th grand slam win.

Hugh Jackman took to Instagram to share a video of him entering the Arthur Ashe Stadium. Upon entry, he read aloud a quote by Billie Jean King that has been etched on the walls. The quote read: Pressure is a privilege. He walked further in, admiring the grand court which has witnessed much of tennis history. He uploaded the video with the caption “Thank you, Jay and Kelly, for the most awesome afternoon ever!”. Jackman also got to hold the US Open Men’s singles trophy and posed for a picture while kissing it.

Novak Djokovic has had quite the year. He won three of the four grand slams. His hopes to complete the calendar slam at the very place Jackman visited was shattered by Russian Daniil Medvedev in straight sets. Post the US Open finals, Djokovic took a long break, after which he reached Bercy to play in the Paris Masters. Here, not only did he win the title by defeating Medvedev, but also became the only man to achieve year-end no. 1 ranking for 7th time.
Jackman, a true fan of Novak posted a picture on his Instagram story, which showed him roaring, trying to copy Djokovic’s celebratory pose.
