Women’s Singles Draw Analysis and Prediction
Top Half

The top quarter is lead by the top-seeded Petra Kvitova and also has the 5th seeded Nadia Podoroska in her company with a potential clash between the two seeds expected in the quarter-finals. Kvitova will face a qualifier who’ll be confirmed later while Nadia will be playing wildcard entrant Mara Gruth with both the seeds expected to win their opening clashes and meet in the quarters.
The 2nd quarter has the likes of 4th seeded Angelique Kerber and 6th seeded Sorana Cirstea. Accompanying them, American teenager Amanda Anisimova is also there who could potentially meet Sorana in the 2nd round. Looking at the other players, it seems that the quarter-final will consist of Kerber and Sorana battling amongst themselves unless there’s an early upset.
Semi-Final Prediction: Petra Kvitova vs Angelique Kerber
Bottom Half

The bottom half has 2-time Grand Slam winner Victoria Azarenka who is the 2nd seed in the tournament. Azarenka is in great form and will come from a semi-final run at the Berlin Open 2021. She may face the 7th seeded Sara Sorribes Tormo who is the other seed in her quarter and can meet her in the quarter-finals looking at the other lesser experienced players.
The remaining two seeds in the half are the 3rd seeded Jessica Pegula and 8th seeded Laura Siegemund. While Pegula remains favourite to win both of her opening rounds, Laura can have a tricky opening clash against Sloane Stephens. However, going by the seeding, Laura will be the favourite to make it till the quarters where she can expect Jessica Pegula to clash with her.
Semi-Final Prediction: Victoria Azarenka vs Jessica Pegula
Semi-Finals

It will be an interesting semi-final between Kvitova and Kerber who will meet for the 15th time on the tour and 2nd time in 2021. However, it will be their first Grass meeting. While both players familiar with each others game, Kerber will be the favourite for the clash as she has near about the same record as Kvitova on grass but has already played on Grass this season while Kvitova makes her debut.
In the second semi-final, Azarenka and Pegula are expected to clash in their 3rd meeting on the tour with the duo meeting in the quarter-finals of the Berlin Open as well. While Pegula will be seeking a revenge, Azarenka will be the favourite to win the tie and extend her lead over the American given her vast experience on playing on the surface.
Final: Angelique Kerber vs Victoria Azarenka
Final

In a clash of the veterans, it will be the 12th meeting between the duo with Azarenka leading the head-to-head 10-1. They also met in the 2nd round of the Berlin Open where Azarenka registered her 2nd Grass win over Kerber and will be the favourite again for this title winning clash at the Bad Homburg Open 2021.
