Vince McMahon has been the ‘Voldemort’ of WWE lately. His name is not mentioned on TV programming after the recent s*xual allegations against him. The former boss has been getting the cold shoulder by WWE. As one fish spoils the whole pond, any sort of contact with McMahon can be dangerous for the public image of the person. The same is the case with John Cena and The Rock, who are reported to maintain contact with the former boss.
According to the spokesperson for Janel Grant in the trafficking allegation, John Cena and The Rock are still in contact with Vince McMahon. They reported that even after his resignation, the two stars are in continuous touch with the former chairman of WWE. The spokesperson called it a ‘shameful’ act and called out that there was behind-the-scenes support for McMahon in WWE.
It’s shameful that Mr. Johnson and Mr. Cena would associate themselves with an individual with decades of allegations just like Janel's. Behind-the-scenes support is louder than any public statement ever could be.Spokesperson for Janel Grant
Furthermore, Vince was accused by Janel Grant of s*x trafficking. She mentioned the name of Brock Lesnar as well. It eventually led to McMahon’s resignation from TKO. However, it was recently reported that he has been enjoying his time with former US President Donald Trump on vacation.
Moreover, there have been a lot of allegations against Mr. McMahon ever since then. Recently, Ronda Rousey also expressed her resentment against the former boss of WWE. Even CM Punk took a shot at McMahon in his promo on Raw a few weeks ago.
Vince McMahon can open his own wrestling promotion
Since the 1960s, wrestling has been a prominent part of the life of Vince McMahon. However, he was sidelined in 2024 after he was accused of s*x trafficking. Now, a report suggests that he might start his own wrestling promotion.
According to Dave Meltzer, there is a possibility of McMahon doing just that. He said that Vince has been a part of wrestling for a long time. Therefore, to continue his love for wrestling, he might kick off a new journey by starting a new brand.
Since the word got out, I’ve had discussions and other communications with some of the most prominent people in wrestling regarding the possibility that he gets back into wrestling, something that has been his life since starting to work for his father as a promoter in the late 1960sDave Meltzer on Vince McMahon
Furthermore, his report also elucidated that starting anything at this age is quite a task. Therefore, it is less likely. However, in McMahon’s words, “Anything can happen” in professional wrestling.
