Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson names his Mount Rushmore of WWE Superstars; snubs one of his greatest rivals from the list
Being a 10-time World Champion, The Rock is one of WWE's biggest names. But there are a few whom he rates even higher than himself.

A ton of today’s wrestlers took up this art form dreaming of replicating The Rock‘s exploits. Barely any of them would keep The Great One off their Mt. Rushmore of WWE Superstars. Having said that, who are some of Rock’s own picks of that stature? Speaking to SportsBible, the 52-year-old disclosed his Mt. Rushmore of WWE wrestlers.
The real-life Dwayne Johnson mentioned his great rival, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, right off the bat. Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair were next in line, with Andre The Giant completing the list. Some of the fans in the comments were wondering why the Black Adam star snubbed John Cena. But it’s just the way it is.
Cena does make the case for being Rock’s greatest antagonist of the past decade. Another glaring omission from Dwayne’s Mt. Rushmore list is none other than The American Dream, Dusty Rhodes. Johnson has said on record that Dusty’s always been one of his heroes. Speaking of the late, great WWE HOF’er, his son, Cody Rhodes, was involved in a heated rivalry with The Brahma Bull for the better part of 2024.
All that vitriol was put to rest in a hurry on the Netflix premiere of Raw. On a night where the fans expected Johnson to reignite his loathing of Rhodes, the Jumanji actor embraced Cody for carrying WWE on his back in his absence. The two even drank tequila backstage, which was live on Instagram.
Other than that, The Brahma Bull crowned Roman Reigns as the tribal chief once again after his victory over Solo Sikoa. At one point, it seemed like Rock would turn on Reigns, setting up their WrestleMania showdown, but nothing came out of it.
Does The Rock fit into any WrestleMania 41 plans?
The chances of The Rock‘s in-ring return at WrestleMania 41 are quite low at this point. Up until October of last year, he was well on track to compete at The Show of Shows, with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns as potential opponents.

However, Rock’s heavily rumored bout with Cody stands canceled. And as per Fightful Select, the working plan right now for Mania is to pit Rhodes against John Cena. The latter has already declared his intentions of chasing that record-breaking 17th world title run.
To address the prospect of Rock vs. Reigns in jeopardy of being nixed for once and for all, Dave Meltzer believes that the match is “not dead.” The OTC was asked about it on the Raw post-show last Monday; he said he’ll let the internet do its thing.
