Dwayne Johnson‘s latest experience with a suffering boy reaffirms that life isn’t fair to everyone. The Hollywood mogul revealed in a social media post that he was recently asked by folks over at the Make-A-Wish Foundation to bestow a “Rush Wish.” Adhering to the organization’s request, the 52-year-old met the suffering Kane on March 11.

A week later, on March 18, the little boy kicked the bucket. The Rock posted a snippet of his conversation with Kane and his family, including his parents, Charles and Christine, and his twin brother, Dennis. As seen in the video, Kane was on his hospital bed, unable to speak, but he could hear. Lying beside Kane was a Maui horn that was remotely inseparable from him, except for during school hours.

The Great One also spotted Heihei the Chicken and a Moana doll in the vicinity of Kane. The latter had a Moana bracelet on his wrist that fascinated the WWE icon to reveal his own that his seven-year-old daughter made for her dad. Rock let him know that he was a source of inspiration for others before clicking a photo with the family-of-four.

Johnson wrote that he’s extremely sorry about Kane’s passing and told his brother Dennis that he can’t wait to shake his hand one day. Kane’s mother, Christine, said on her son’s demise that Kane brought so much light to everyone who met him, and she wants to continue sharing it. The People’s Champ might take a while to mentally recover from the unexpected demise of a young lad he recently spoke with.

What’s being said about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s WrestleMania status?

It’s been over a month since The Rock was last seen in WWE. He came in for a couple of appearances to orchestrate the most shocking heel turn of the modern era that saw John Cena selling out to The Final Boss. They, along with rapper Travis Scott, brutalized Cody Rhodes in a 3-on-1 assault at Elimination Chamber.

Cena has since made three WWE appearances on Raw, but his associate was nowhere to be found. It left the fans in dismay. They’re starting to wonder if Rock even has anything left to do in the storyline that has a never-before-seen Cenation Leader going rogue to win a seventeenth world title.

Dave Meltzer recently provided an update on The Final Boss’ WrestleMania 41 status. While the wrestling historian claimed that Scott is slated to appear at the show, Rock’s involvement remains uncertain. It’s up to the Black Adam star himself, added Dave.

The latter broached that WWE might want to keep his appearance as a surprise, which is baffling, since almost everyone is expecting him to be there in person when Cena takes on Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title on April 20. The Brahma Bull has been barely mentioned on WWE television of late.

Does Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson need to wrestle more matches in WWE?

In his first WWE match since 2016, which was a 6-second squash, The Rock teamed up with Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL. The Final Boss got the last laugh in that encounter when he pinned the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion.

Looking back on it, The American Nightmare wants his lick back. Speaking on Pardon My Take, Cody called himself an ego-centric individual who wants to get his pound of flesh from the Attitude Era doyen.

Though Rhodes admitted that they don’t see eye to eye, the 39-year-old applauded the TKO Board Director for making the time to show up in WWE despite an ironclad Hollywood schedule. Later in the interview, The Prodigal Son asserted that Rock needs to wrestle two men before officially retiring from in-ring competition. Those being his cousin Reigns and Rhodes himself.
