The Rock came back to WWE, played part in making WrestleMania XL a gargantuan success, and now he’s back in Hollywood. However, The Great One did catch up with numerous high-profile names during the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania. One of those was Jake Paul. The two embraced behind-the-scenes. The WWE legend had some words of wisdom for Paul, owing to his upcoming boxing match with Mike Tyson.

Slated to go down at the AT&T Stadium on July 20, Paul vs. Tyson will be streamed live globally on Netflix. In the brief chat they had, Paul told Rock that he wouldn’t want it any other way. The People’s Champ referred to Mike Tyson as the GOAT and said he can’t wait to see them spar. It would be interesting to see who prevails in a bout that’s yet to be decided whether it would be contested as an exhibition or a professional one.

Speaking of Dwayne Johnson’s upcoming ventures, he’s lined up for filming The Smashing Machine. The Mark Kerr-based biopic is expected to be shot in a span of three months. It would remotely keep Rocky away from WWE, at least in a physical capacity. Even though he’s out indefinitely, Flex Kavana is believed to go after Cody Rhodes once he returns to WWE.

There’s currently no date set in stone for Rock’s next match. However, per recent reports, he’d prefer facing The American Nightmare at next year’s WrestleMania. His arch-nemesis, Cody, has also promised a bloodied-fate for Johnson. Furthermore, in a post-Mania check in, the 51-year-old revealed that he has his sights set on WrestleMania 41.

As mentioned above, The Rock gave Jake Paul his blessings for the latter’s highly-anticipated Mike Tyson bout. But that doesn’t mean that the wrestler-turned-actor is as amicable with Jake’s brother, Logan Paul. A few years back, the Anoa’i family member used to have a relationship with The Maverick.

However, following Paul’s publicity stunt in Japan, The Brahma Bull distanced himself from the current WWE United States Champion. Last year in June, Logan was a guest on the True Geordie podcast. He admitted feeling extremely low after the incident.

And then, via their commonly-shared publicist, Rock cut his ties with Paul. The Attitude Era icon asked to removed every bit of content they’ve done together. The Cleveland native was down and out as the man whom he considered his idol wanted nothing to do with him.
