Thomas and Uber cup likely to be suspended

The Thomas and Uber Cup Finals, scheduled to be held from October 3-11 in Aarhus, Denmark, is likely to be suspended following apprehension raised by several countries.
The tournamnet had been intially suspended in March following the coronavirus pandemic. Several countries Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong kong have withdrawn from the prestigious event, citing security concerns.
A Malaysian news outlet has claimed that the event will take place after Tokyo Olympics.
Thomas and Uber cup to be postponed over safety concerns?
The Malaysian news outlet THE STAR has reported that the The Thomas and Uber Cup finals will be postponed to 2021. Several players including Indian ace shuttler Saina Nehwal has also expressed concern regarding the issue. She posted a tweet yesterday, raising concern over the safety of players amidst pandemic.
