Tiger Woods is considered on the most disciplined golfers and his work ethics sets an example for plenty of athletes, even if they are not a part of the golf world. “The Tournament Director, Mike Stewart, has reviewed the incident and feels there has been a breach of the Tour Code of Conduct and consequently Tiger Woods will be fined,” the European Tour said in a statement.

Tiger Woods soon tweeted accepting the disgraceful mistake he made, “The Euro Tour is right — it was inconsiderate to spit like that and I know better. Just wasn’t thinking and want to say I’m sorry.”

Back in 2006, Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia were known to have a little hate for each other. Sergio did not fall behind on publicising a comment on the former World No. 1 Woods. The clash of egos made Tiger Woods sent out a hilarious message towards the LIV defector as Garcia dressed up head to toe in a yellow outfit, looking like a character from Cartoon Network: Tweety bird.

One should know who they wish to taunt as Tiger Woods then went on to finish crushing an excellent 67-73. He further texted Sergio, “I just bludgeoned Tweety Bird.” To everyone’s surprise Sergio agreed that the outfit was a mistake and said,

“Obviously, the all-yellow outfit at the 2006 British Open. For that year, I was wearing yellow shirts and red pants, for Spanish colors, but it wasn’t really that popular, so I decided to go all yellow, It’s fine, though. We did it, and it got talked about, so at least we got something out of it!”
