Woods revealed he did not get a good warm-up before playing 23 holes on Friday and that took a lot out of him. He “missed a lot of putts” which could’ve been easily made otherwise.

The fact that I was not hitting it very good or putting well. I didn’t have a very good warmup session, and I kept it going all day today.

On Saturday he made an illustrious history of being the first player to make 24 consecutive Masters cut at Augusta. As for his wobbly play, he noted that “I haven’t competed and played much.” Getting to practice more would’ve made it easier for him to make the flips and get in sync with his old form.

Tyrell Hatton who played with Woods on Saturday, commented on his missed putts. He said “the greens are so fast out there” that many times even makeable putts can get missed.

He admitted that Woods has not been hitting like his usual form but the course is “just brutal”. Regardless, the fans are waiting to see how far Tiger Woods can go with his pained body at The Masters 2024, or if he’ll be forced to withdraw in the last moment like in past events.
