With a higher number of Non-Americans making their way to the NBA, international games have increased their competency.
USA Basketball Team Preview
The elite competitor USA basketball team has come out opposite to their reputation. They have had an underwhelming start to the exhibitions pre-game. First, the star-studded squad lost to Nigeria, 90-87, in their exhibition opener last week in Las Vegas. Then they dropped their second consecutive exhibition game in three days with a 91-83 loss against Australia on Monday night. Coming into those matchups, Team USA flaunted a 54-2 record in exhibitions. Now it has doubled that loss total in less than a week. But USA ensured a tough comeback in the next game against Argentina.
This year men’s basketball team is nowhere near as good as the inaugural Dream Team roster that featured 11 future Hall of Famers and Christian Laettner. But the 2021 team is also not as good as the teams that followed them, either. The team having senior players like Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Kevin Love, etc will look to yield good results.
