In his 23 seasons in the NFL, Tom Brady has always been the symbol of excellence, winning seven Super Bowls and setting countless records in the process. The retired quarterback is starting his work as a broadcaster with FOX. But even though his debut went well, the greatest football player of all time is looking to improve.

Brady was a guest on The Herd with Colin Cowherd on FS1. Host Colin Cowherd asked him if he thought his debut was good. In response, Brady voiced his mind

I would say yes, and I would also say there's still so much room for improvement. "It's almost like when I was a player, I never felt like I did things the right way. There were games where I would go in afterward and say, 'God, I'm the worst quarterback in the NFL'. I'm sure I'm going to feel that way here at Fox where I finish a game and I go, 'I didn't even give them what they wanted.' It's a very challenging thing in your own mind.
Tom Brady said

Brady agreed that his debut was good. However, he wants to improve as he wants to be better.

Tom Brady knows that just because he has a footballing pedigree does not necessarily translate to success as a broadcaster. The former quarterback has spoken to others who have been successful in this field. All in a bid to improve his own work.

The former New England Patriots superstar also suggested that he is working on his preparations, something that is crucial if he wants to avoid making mistakes. The seven-time Super Bowl winner also added that being prepared helps when handling any unexpected situations.

Tom Brady to start broadcasting career with FOX NFL Sunday

Tom Brady’s official broadcasting debut is yet to come. In the UFL Championship game, Brady was just a guest, filling in to get a feel for how the game flows from a broadcaster’s perspective. More importantly, he was there to present the Championship MVP award.

But his official debut will come on September 8th when the Dallas Cowboys go into Cleveland to take on the Browns. The former quarterback knows he will have to bring his years of playing at the highest level to broadcasting if he wants to do his job in the best way possible. It will be interesting to see if he can keep his emotions in check when talking about former rivals.

Tom Brady signed a 10-year $375 million contract with FOX to become one of the most highly paid broadcasters in history. However, he knows that fans will be expecting a GOAT level performance in the booth, just like from his playing days.
