The emergence of Artificial Intelligence has shown immense promise. While the technology is still developing, it is being used in all areas of life, amongst students, teachers, and even sports. AI takes the data and crunches it down. It simplifies complex data and saves time and resources.
Turns out, AI has yet another use. To Tom Brady, the former NFL quarterback, AI is a way to help him prepare for his broadcasting gig with FOX Sports. As he gears up to call the September 8th game between the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys, the seven-time Super Bowl winner revealed via BizTech Magazine that he is making full use of this new technology.
At the Cisco Live conference, Brady revealed how the technology has proven to be advantageous for him.
I'm about to start my broadcasting career on FOX, and I'm using AI in the preparation for that so I can better understand the matchups, the plays, and different situations that come up in the game.Tom Brady said
It is not unheard of to use AI to determine matchups and come up with different situations on the fly.
Tom Brady is doing everything to be fully prepared for his broadcasting gig
Brady knows football in and out. After an illustrious career such as his, he is an individual who knows almost every play, every defensive and offensive formation and play, and can predict how coaches think.
But Brady’s comments must be taken with a grain of salt. The reason is that Cisco Live handsomely pays those who headline their events. Elton John was reportedly paid $5 million for his performance. Tom Brady delivered the keynote address, and F1 star Oscar Piastri was in attendance. The odds of TB12 being financially compensated to vouch for this technology is a possibility.
At #CiscoLive, @TomBrady said he benefits from AI:

This is not to say that Brady is not using AI in some form or the other to help him get in shape for the new gig, but it sounds a bit surprising given that he has played under the most knowledgeable coach in NFL history. His debut is being anticipated by fans and will be watched by many to see if FOX made a smart move by offering him a monumental deal.
