WWE is gearing up for their next pay-per-view Survivor Series. The PPV is known for their inter-brand wars storyline. But this year the focus is on the “Final Farewell”. The Undertaker will be announcing his official retirement from pro-wrestling. The event also marks Taker’s 30th anniversary in the industry.

The focus for WWE currently remains on paying a fitting tribute to one of the greatest WWE wrestler of all times. But there have been rumors going around regarding the upcoming plans of WWE. Here are the Top 5 WWE rumors from this week.

#5 Change of Wrestlemania plans for Edge

Edge and Bray Wyatt

Previously there have been reports that the Rated-R Superstar will be returning to Wrestlemania 37 for concluding his rivalry with Randy Orton. The reports suggested that Orton and Edge will battle it out at Wrestlemania in an I Quit match, for the WWE Championship.

But according to the latest rumors, WWE has changed plans for Edge. We might see The Fiend Bray Wyatt take on Edge at WWE’s biggest event. The Edge-Orton match is much likelier considering we are yet to witness a conclusion for that story. But we might get a clearer picture as we move closer to the event. Match cards for Royal Rumble, the PPV that precedes Mania may clear the around these rumors.

#4 Becky Lynch’s due date and possible WWE return

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch last appeared on WWE Raw to announce her pregnancy and relinquish her WWE title. Since then Lynch has been preparing for the arrival of her and Seth Rollins’ baby. It is reported that she is expected to give birth to their child in a week or two.

Rumors have been going around that she is ready to get back in the squared ring. If fans return to the WWE shows, Lynch is expected to make her return to WWE Wrestlemania 37. The rumors also suggest that The Man might be feuding against Ronda Rousey. While none of this is confirmed, we might get some clarity, once Lynch delivers the baby.

#3 Reason for WWE releasing Zelina Vega

Zelina Vega

Zelina Vega’s sudden departure from WWE shocked the fans and the wrestlers alike. A report suggests that Vega was too vocal against WWE’s third party edict. She had a Twitch and an Only Fans account, which WWE wanted control over. This was considered as a breach of contract, and subsequently Vega’s contract with WWE was terminated. Vega has clarified that she will continue to wrestle, just not for WWE. She is currently under a 90-day non-compete clause with WWE.

#2 Update on Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins

On latest episode of Smackdown, the long rivalry between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins finally came to an end. Mysterio defeated Rollins in a No Holds Barred match to conclude the storyline. Rollins will be facing Murphy in a match next week on Smackdown.

Reportedly, ending this often criticized feud was a last minute decision. Rollins will be taking a short break from WWE. While the reason for this break has not been mentioned, but it will be most likely to welcome his baby with Becky Lynch. Rollins will be making his final appearance for this year on Survivor Series.

#1 Roman Reigns should have ended The Deadman’s streak, believe Kane and The Undertaker

The Undertaker and Roman Reigns

A recent documentary on WWE network, Brothers of Destruction bought some new information into the light. The documentary focused on Kane and The Undertaker. Kane mentions that he was infuriated when he saw Brock Lesnar ending the Deadman’s streak.

Undertaker revealed that he thought that he was going to win. But on the day of the event, Vince McMahon changed his mind. Taker did not thing that Lesnar needed the win, but he still accepted McMahon’s call. Both of them agreed that a younger Superstar, like Roman Reigns ending the streak would have made more sense.

Had the streak still been intact, Reigns would have definitely gotten the opportunity to break it, considering the massive push he is getting.
