“Tracks and Records” Olympic Legend Usain Bolt all set to release much awaited NFT

After dominating the true track and setting several records over the last decade or so, Olympic legend Usain Bolt has now shifted his focus to the other kind of track and record- in music. Although he has pursued track and field for a long amount of time, Bolt says that his he has always found his passion in music as well.

Ahead of his NFT (non fungible token) release, Bolt said that he has big goals in music. “I want to go to the top. I want to get Grammys off my music, platinum albums, and that’s what we’re working on,” said Bolt according to Jamaica gleaner. Also calling the NFT space “massive”, he said that it was the best way forward, and that it was a great way to be connected to his fans.

The NFTs, named “Tracks and Records” follows suit of the restaurant food chain that he co founded. The NFT will feature five of the sprinter’s records. This will include his 9.69s record set at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 19.19s and the 9.58s record set at the 2009 World Championships.

All five of the records will be set to his favourite music from his “Country Yutes” album. Of course the digital collection will also see his signature lightning pose. Country Yutes is a collaboration between Usain Bolt and best friends as well as executive manager Nugent’ NJ’ Walker Jr. It was released on Bolt’s A-Team Lifestyle imprint in September 2021.
