On Thursday afternoon, WWE CCO Triple H announced that this year’s Survivor Series will be heading to Vancouver, BC. It will take place on Thanksgiving weekend, November 30, in the Rogers Arena. More importantly, the PLE continues its yearly stipulation of WarGames.

After taking over creative duties in 2022, The Game changed the format of the event from brand warfare to the hellacious structure. This will also mark WWE’s second PLE in Canada this year, after Toronto hosted Money in the Bank earlier this month. However, there is no current indication that Survivor Series will be the last major WWE event in 2024.

The next show, Royal Rumble, is set to take place on February 1, 2025. Therefore, it wouldn’t be surprising to see WWE host another PLE during the two-month gap. Nonetheless, fans are excited for the upcoming events. The last two Survivor Series events have been major successes for WWE. In 2022, The Bloodline saga reached its peak when Sami Zayn betrayed his longtime friend, Kevin Owens, to help the faction secure the win inside WarGames.

A year later, The Judgment Day fell against Cody Rhodes‘ team as Randy Orton came back following an 18-month absence from wrestling. The Allstate Arena would be in for another surprise as their local boy, CM Punk, made his shocking return to WWE. Therefore, the expectations for this year’s Survivor Series couldn’t be higher.

Over the past few months, The Bloodline has undergone a massive transformation. Amid Roman Reigns‘ absence, Solo Sikoa has taken over the faction, proclaiming himself to be the new Tribal Chief. Having said that, fans have been clamoring for a rivalry between a Reigns-led Bloodline and a Sikoa-led Bloodline. As such, the announcement sparked further fuel for Survivor Series.

Some fans online believe that The Rock will return at the event. The Brahma Bull is expected to wrap up filming for The Smashing Machine and could come back at the PLE. Moreover, the majority of the WWE Universe is heavily anticipating The Bloodline civil war inside the demonic structure.

Meanwhile, a few others advocated for WWE to hold the PLE in another country. All in all, the excitement levels for this year’s Survivor Series have reached another level, as fans cannot wait to see how The Bloodline storyline progresses.
