It’s a shame that Rhea Ripley‘s tenure as the Women’s World Champion ended on this week’s Raw. Donning a sling on her right arm, Mami knew whatever she had to get off her chest wasn’t going to be easy. Owing to that vicious backstage ambush by Liv Morgan last week, the doctors told Rhea that she’d need to be on the shelf for quite a few months.

Of course, in kayfabe, Morgan’s the culprit. But it’s still under wraps how The Eradicator actually picked up the injury. Knowing she’s medically incompetent to wrestle, Rhea Ripley had to vacate her title after 380 days of dominance. However, before leaving, the 27-year-old Aussie talisman claimed that she’d be coming back for blood, which was directed at Liv Morgan. The latter made her way out with a menacing smile on her face.

Held back by WWE personnel, the former Riott Squad member couldn’t make a beeline to Ripley, whose foot was on the gas pedal, as if she wanted to rip Liv apart. Backstage, Rhea’s Judgment Day buddies were waiting to give her a goodbye hug.

She did ask the villainous stable to continue asserting their dominance while she’s out. Shortly after that, Liv Morgan was interviewed by Cathy Kelley. She asked the real-life Gionna Daddio if relegating The Nightmare to the sidelines was enough gratification to quell her revenge tour.

Liv, brimming with loathe for Rhea, said she won’t stop until she becomes the new Women’s World Champion. Moreover, the 29-year-old mocked the fans by asking where their sympathy went when Ripley brutally tore her shoulder out of the socket. It then coerced Morgan to be out for 8 months.

WWE CCO Triple H knows how imperative Rhea Ripley’s been to the women’s division. Which is why he consoled her after she reached backstage after relinquishing the Women’s World title. The Game affirmed that Mami would be back better and stronger than ever.

CM Punk wished Rhea a speedy recovery in his own way. He posted a picture of his dog Larry sending her all the love she needs at this point. Hall of Famer Trish Stratus also took to X to congratulate Rhea for a spectacular reign that she had. Liv Morgan too reached out, though diabolically.

Moreover, Trish asked the Adelaide-born wrestler to convert her injury hiatus into me time, which as Stratus said, is hard to come by in this realm. Cathy Kelley also gave The Eradicator her flowers. The latter’s longtime foe Zelina Vega too admitted that injuries are never fun.
