“Twenty-nine other teams would’ve probably laid down and died”- Stephen Curry makes a bold statement after Warriors’ loss to Nuggets
Stephen Curry
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has been in great form this season. He’s been shooting better threes and has been having good games very frequently. The Golden State Warriors stand at the top of the Western Conference Standings with 27 wins and over 7 losses of the total 34 games they’ve encountered.
But the match between the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets didn’t go so well, as the team had to lose with 89-86 on the final board. Considering the fact that most of the Warrior players were out of the line-up due to the COVID-19 protocols it is not to be completely blamed on the guard Stephen Curry.

Stephen Curry seems to be very confident about his team the Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors have already been pulled down with some of the best players being out of the court due to the world heavy pandemic of course. Draymond Green, Damion Lee, Moses Moody, Jordan Poole, are all back within the COVID-19 protocols. Due to their fitness issues, they are under the NBA’s health and safety protocols and would be charged so until they are completely sober.
It was not long when Stephen Curry due to the team’s ongoing struggle commented on Draymond’s importance to the line-up. He added that it was their first time without him and how much Draymond Green adds to their team. Talking about the teamwork Stephen Curry said “It all kind of went wrong in the first half, but I love the way we fought because pretty sure we’re not a moral victory team, but 29 other teams probably would’ve laid down and died.”
After the game against the Denver Nuggets, Stephen Curry explained that it was impressive to see his team’s effort to tie the game in the first half. But obviously the rearrangement of players every time can be a very difficult task changing the nuances and disrupting the game in every aspects.
