Twitter reacts as Sunrisers Hyderabad qualify for the IPL playoffs with win over MI

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) cruised past table toppers Mumbai Indians (MI) to end the Indian Premier League league stages with a resounding win and move to the 3rd place and hence, the playoffs. With the win, SRH set up an Eliminator clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Winning the toss, SRH chose to bowl first. MI had rested their pace bowling duo of Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah. Their skipper Rohit Sharma was also back in the line-up after his injury. However, MI couldn’t get going as they lost wickets regularly. Sandeep Sharma was the standout bowler with 3 wickets. Kieron Pollard scored 41 runs for MI.

In the second innings, Wriddhiman Saha and David Warner were terrific as they kept hitting the MI bowlers around the park. The duo did not lose their wicket as they notched up a 10-wicket win.
