Tyreek Hill FIRES BACK at Noah Lyles, boldly claims he could ‘beat’ Olympic champion in a race

Tyreek Hill and Noah Lyles

In a recent interview with the Up and Adams Show, Tyreek Hill, the Miami Dolphins’ receiver responded boldly to comments made by Noah Lyles, the 100m Olympic champion. Hill claimed he could defeat the speedster in a 100-meter foot race.

Hill wasn’t too pleased with Noah Lyles over the controversial “world champion” remark he used against the NBA teams. He further dismissed Lyles by insisting he should stick to his preferred sports before the bold challenge was made.

I would beat Noah Lyles [in a race]. I wouldn’t beat him by a lot, but I would beat Noah Lyles.

Lyles, fresh from winning gold in the 100 meters had to settle for bronze in the 200 meters after reports emerged he had contracted the COVID-19 virus, at the 2024 Summer Olympics. This remark is from Hill who himself is a speedster but has never been tested professionally.

A potential rivalry between Tyreek Hill and Lyles has now led to a call by fans for the two athletes to race against each other. It would be interesting to see who comes out on top and earn the respect of their respective fanbase.

Noah Lyles’ comments on Anthony Edwards draw reaction from Knicks’ Jalen Brunson

Noah Lyles comments where he questioned Adidas for inviting him to Anthony Edward’s shoe release event has drawn a reaction from an NBA player. The NBA player, New York Knicks’s star guard, Jalen Brunson added his voice to the conversation on X.

Brunson responded to an NBA post where it commented on the Lyles-Edwards drama. Brunson then thought he mistook the comment for the popular parody account, “NBA Centel,” which is known for deceiving users on the popular social media platform X. His comment may have indicated that he assumed the report was fake had it been from the parody account.

Damn I thought this was Centel
Jalen Brunson wrote on X

Lyles’ recent Olympic success has ensured he remains in the spotlight for both good and bad reasons. Moreover, the Olympic games added fire to the already heated rivalry between the American basketball players and Lyles. Team USA even took a dig at him after winning gold at the games.

As such, when Adidas made the offer for him to be present at an event tailored for Anthony Edwards, he took offense. Lyles wanted justification from Adidas for designing a shoe for Edwards and not him.
