When Tua Tagovailoa went down with another concussion a few weeks ago, everyone across the NFL was waiting to see if he continues to play or retire. The Miami Dolphins gave him his space and placed him on Injured Reserve, both to recover and dig deep about his future. In all that time, superstar WR Tyreek Hill and his teammates endured three losses.

Now the recently extended star QB is back at practice as he looks to shake off the rust. Even though his health is of importance, his team is ecstatic that they finally have their star QB back. Bad quarterbacking play was what led to those three losses from four games.

ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques decided to cover the developing situation in Miami as he observed the quarterback’s work on the field. He also spoke with several players and coaches about how Tagovailoa is progressing. But his discussion with Tyreek Hill was what caught his attention.

He looked great. Felt like old times. Me and him connected on a few deep shots today, and that kind of got me feeling good today. I missed that and I missed him. S**t was so beautiful, that s**t almost made me cry today, like just hearing his voice. He’s a big part of this team.

Tyreek Hill on Tua Tagovailoa’s return

The words from their superstar receiver indicate that the team is relieved to have Tua Tagovailoa back. Without him, their offense has stuttered, leading them to those losses. The only win came against the league-worst New England Patriots.

Tyreek Hill needs Tua Tagovailoa to succeed

Any receiver worth his value will acknowledge that for them to succeed, they will need an elite quarterback to throw the ball to them. It was made more apparent when in the four games his QB was out, Tyreek Hill managed a grand total of 140 yards. That is a figure he can bring out from one good game.

With Tua Tagovailoa back in, Hill and his elite receiving core can return to their high-flying ways. With games against stud teams coming up, the Miami Dolphins will need his accurate throws and decision-making. Only then can they look to return to winning form and aim for the playoffs.

Their Super Bowl goals can only be possible if their QB stays healthy. But they will have to win at least nine or ten of their remaining eleven games to confirm a wild card berth. Else, they will have to finish their season on a low and regroup for next season.
