Oleksandr ‘The Cat’ Usyk recently revealed that he has been seeking guidance from Wladimir ‘Dr. Steelhammer’ Klitschko ahead of his undisputed title fight. However, this did not sit well with his opponent, Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury, who decided to mock the Ukrainians for this. As such, the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion recently held a press conference with Queensberry Promotions.

Fury looked quite fit because of his recent body transformation and resonated with a sense of confidence. Furthermore, he commented on how The Cat is seeking guidance from his former opponent, Klitschko. Fury and Dr. Steelhammer fought each other back in 2015, and The Gypsy King emerged victorious via unanimous decision. This is why Fury found it pointless that Usyk was asking Klitschko’s advice, and he mocked him by stating:

That would be very good advice, wouldn't it? How to lose to the Gypsy King?

The WBC heavyweight champion also decided to take a subtle jibe at Klitschko for helping his opponent. As such, Fury stated that if Klitschko could give anyone advice, he would have used it himself first. Hence, The Gypsy King stated that Dr. Steelhammer’s advice to defeat him would be pointless. In addition, Fury pushed this notion further by mentioning how his fight with Klitschko was one-sided.

However, The Gypsy King did state that Dr. Steelhammer was a great champion, and so was Usyk. Fury also brought up the fact that in 2015 he mentioned that he would be useless if he couldn’t defeat Klitschko, and he is saying the same thing now ahead of the Usyk fight.

Tyson Fury talks about his bad blood with Anthony Joshua

During the press conference, Anthony Joshua‘s name was brought up quite a few times. Fury called his British rival by his favorite nickname, ‘fat sausage’ while throwing shade at him. Subsequently, the WBC heavyweight champion also shared his thoughts on their relationship.

Fury mentioned that he intends to fight AJ twice after defeating The Cat twice. He also remarked on how Usyk is at the top of his hit list because he defeated Anthony Joshua twice. This is why The Gypsy King wants to defeat Usyk and then AJ to prove his supremacy inside the ring.

If he was here now we'd go for a beer and a jam sandwich, or I'd take him out for fish and chips.

As such, Tyson Fury stated that he has no personal beef with Joshua beyond the ring and he would happily spend time with him. He even mentioned that he would take AJ back to his house and make him meet his kids and take pictures. Hence, Fury stated that beyond the competitive nature of boxers, there is no bad blood.
