UFC 262 is all set to take place in Texas, Houston, and as the saying goes everything is bigger in Texas, even the UFC fight night bonuses.

Tony Ferguson is booked to face Beneil Dariush at the co-main event of UFC 262, and at the press conference Tony shined brightest among the others, he was the center of attraction there.

In an interesting conversation with Dana White, Ferguson asked Dana to increase the UFC Fight Night Bonus for this one, he said, “(Last time when I fought in Houston), we were here for the performance-bonus meeting. (Travis Browne) said, ‘You know, everything is bigger in Texas, Dana, right?’ Right, you remember that?”

He said, “How about a bigger bonus?’ So, I’m going to ask you, Dana. Since we are here, like last time, can we have a bigger bonus this time?”

And as another famous saying goes, “Ask and you shall receive” Dana White agreed to fulfil his request, and he has agreed to increase the bonus from $50,000 to $75,000.

There wasn’t a beef between Tony Ferguson and Beneil Dariush before the press conference but as soon as Tony got to know that Beneil helped Justin Gaethje prepare against him, he was really mad.

He called him out, and said, “Hey, homie, I already know that you went to help Justin Gaethje. You’re a little b*tch for going out there and helping him fight for the title. I didn’t know you did that.”

He added, “You listened to (your manager) Ali Abdelaziz, and he f*cking manipulated your ass. … Look, I have nothing against you. But seriously, my punches are going to f*cking starch your ass. I’m going to knock you out.”
