Volkan Oezdemir on the other hand is also one of the big names in the UFC Light Heavyweight division. He made his UFC debut against Ovince Saint Preux at UFC Fight Night: Bermudez vs Korean Zombie. Oezdemir won three consecutive fights and challenged the former UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier for his title at UFC 220.

Cormier defeated him via second-round TKO and after that, he lost two more fights. He came back to the win column with a win against Ilir Latifi on UFC Fight Night: Shevchenko vs Carmouche 2. But he again faced a loss against Jiri Prochazka in his last fight at UFC 251.

Oezdemir will be making his return inside the Octagon almost after a year and the winner of this fighter can surely get a crack at the top five fighters next.
